| In our continuing efforts to
provide the best dentistry can offer, we have switched to digital
x-rays! Digital X-rays allow many
advantages for our patients, such as a 70-90% decrease in radiation
exposure compared to conventional dental x-rays and an ability to see
your x-rays and what is wrong (or right) on a monitor, bigger then life.
In addition, conventional x-rays place lead into the waste stream, as
well as the toxic chemicals used to develop them; digital x-rays aren't
just good for you, they're good for the environment too!
We are very excited about this advance in patient care and look forward
to sharing it with our patients. If you haven't heard of it
before, that's no surprise; only about 15% of dentists have yet to
employ this new technology.
