Treatment Options:  

The front teeth can be restored or enhanced with composite or porcelain veneers.  Veneers are very thin layers of restorative material which are bonded to the existing teeth.

Porcelain veneers are a longer lasting, stronger, and higher quality option.  They consist of a custom-made, very thin layer of porcelain bonded to the teeth.  This procedure requires two or three appointments to complete.  

Composite veneers ("bonding") is a procedure in which tooth-like, sculptable material is added to the tooth and then hardened with a light.  This can be completed in just one visit.

Missing teeth and teeth with old fillings 

Treatment Options:  

Missing teeth can be restored one of three ways:  a removable partial denture, crown & bridge, or an implant.

Partial dentures provide an inexpensive way to replace missing teeth, but it takes getting used to, can trap food, and it could need to have visible clasps on your remaining teeth to hold it in place.

Crown & Bridge is an excellent option when teeth adjacent to the space have large fillings.  These teeth have crowns placed, and a tooth attached between them.  They can be all porcelain (when appearance really matters), or porcelain fused to metal (when strength is more important).

Implants are an excellent option, especially when the adjacent teeth have no restorations present.  This allows us to replace your tooth simply and with excellent esthetic results.

In most cases, many of the existing teeth are able to be saved.  First, we re-establish the correct height and position of the teeth.  Then we plan esthetic restoration.
